SMALL COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Do you have a smaller commercial project for which you need some quick, considered, architectural advice? We have worked with many clients on projects over a range of building types including; office fit-outs, cafe renovations, school libraries and staff rooms and mixed use public buildings. These projects are some of our favourites, when architectural design is used for smaller projects these buildings/rooms/spaces work harder and provide better outcomes for the public. Something Jo has long been interested in, read more here.

HMAS PLAYTPUS

As part of the Sydney Harbour Federation Trusts’s masterplan to redevelop and open up this historical Navy facility we submitted and EOI to develop the old Torpedo Workshop into a climbing gym, small retail and offices and provided much needed undercover public space whilst retaining the existing fabric of the building.

JESSIE’S CAFE

Located in Neutral Bay, Jessie’s Cafe is a tiny cafe in front of another business. The cafe renovation looks to rethink the planning, making it much more functional while maximise seating and updating the interior fit-out to make reference to Vietnamese Coffee Houses.

STANMORE PUBLIC SCHOOL

At Stanmore Public School one the most neglected spaces in public schools, the staff room, is getting a makeover. This renovation is looking at ways to provide a better environment for teachers to work and relax with dedicated study nooks, breakout spaces and enough seating for all staff to have communal meals.
